We need goal-line technology in our game – Samuel Boadu

Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu says the Ghana Football Association should introduce goal-line technology in the Premier League.

This was after his side drew 1-1 with Great Olympics in a matchday 28 game in the Ghana Premier League.

Hearts of Oak early in the game thought they had taken the lead when Isaac Mensah’s shot seemed to have crossed the goal line but the referee missed that.

“The Isaac Mensah shot was a clear goal, it crossed the line and that is where we need goal-line technology. That will help resolve some of these issues.

Hearts of Oak took the lead in the 50th minute when Emmanuel Nettey hit in beauty but Great Olympics pegged them back through Maxwell Abbey Quaye.

Hearts still lead the Ghana Premier League table with 50 points.
