Ghana Premier League: Sharks claim slim win over Inter Allies

Elmina Sharks recorded a slim 1-0 victory over Inter Allies at the Nduom Sports Stadium in a Ghana Premier League Matchday 6 encounter.

Elmina Sharks started on a higher note dominating possession in the first few minutes of the game but weren’t potent enough to break the deadlock.

Sharks suffered a huge blow after experience midfielder Richard Mpong got stretched off the game due to injury.

That seems to have played a huge part as Inter Allies regain possession and looked confident on the ball.

Towards the dying embers of the first half, Sharks were awarded a penalty which Benjamin Tweneboah converted to make it 1-0.

Inter Allies came out stronger in the second half but their efforts proved futile as the game eventually ended 1-0.
