Ghana Premier League: Manaf’s late winner gives Hearts all 3 points against King Faisal

Accra Hearts of Oak snatched all 3 points as they defeated King Faisal 2-1 on matchday six of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday at the Nana Ameyaw Park, Techiman.

Hearts who came into the game on a back of a defeat to Aduana were determined to make things right.

They showed great composure on the ball and had their breakthrough in the 19th minute.

Benjamin Afutu moved into an empty space and registered the match opener from a tap in.

Hearts held on to the lead till half time but after the recess, King Faisal pilled pressure on the Phobians and got the equaliser with just five minutes into the game through Kwadwo Frimpong.

Hearts brought on Obeng Jr and they pushed hard for a goal, King Faisal gave away a penalty in the 92nd minute which Manaf converted beautifully to give them a 2-1 win.
