Black Stars draw goalless with Ivory Coast

The Black Stars of Ghana drew 0-0 with Ivory Coast at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The game forms part of both teams preparation towards the World Cup qualifiers.

The game started well but it was Ivory Coast that nearly got the opener.

Some sweet interplay saw Singo put his effort wide.

The game was pretty much a 50-50 one until Thomas Partey got Ghana’s first shot on target in the 41st minute.

The first half ended goalless and the second half started on the same note.

Both teams made changes with Joel Fameye, Abdul Ganiu and Kojo Poku all coming on for Ghana.

Ivory Coast also brought on Max Gradel and Manchester United’s Amad Diallo.

In the end the substitutions did not have any effect on the score line as it eventually ended 0-0.
